![]() "Calling all rural businesswomen!" Women in Rural Enterprise is a registered charity, based at Harper Adams Agricultural College in Shropshire. As a result of funding from the European Social Fund and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) through the Enteprising Women Programme, WiRE rural networks are now popping up all over the East of England. We would like to invite local ladies who are closely involved with running, or thinking of setting up a "rural" business to join our network, which meets in Kings Lynn on a monthly basis. Meetings are free and open to all.
Established in 1996 by Izzy Warren-Smith as a result of research which identified a significant gap in resources for rural businesswomen seeking business support, WiRE is now a trusted national organisation, which helps rural women develop and grow their business and delivers a range of services in response to member feedback and the needs of women in rural business. The rural networks provide opportunities for women from all backgrounds and business types to come together and exchange business ideas, provide support and work together.
