Hands on CSI evening.

Our Little Acorn Network event in September will host fomer Scotland Yard DCI Steve Gaskin,  Director of Right Angle Events, a company who run Coporate Events themed around Crime Scene Investigation.

The evening of CSI will certainly be unique, informative, fun and give insight into the intriguing world of crime and forensics!

The event will take place at Merchants Place in Cromer on Tuesday 2nd September, 6pm - 9pm.  Tickets are £15 to include a light buffet and a glass of wine.

Due to the structure of the evening it is essential that all bookings are received by August 27th so that we have a set idea of delegate numbers!

Birthday Joy!

Our successful networking group aimed at artists and small businesspeople celebrated its second birthday at Cromer’s beautiful Rocket House Cafe at the beginning of August.

Our special guest was Jenny Eaton from The Work House in Norwich. Jenny gave an inspiring speech about being clear about what success looks lke for you so that you know when you have arrived.  An enjoyable evening was had by all.

ART BRUNCH at The Garden House Gallery

What better way to spend a lazy Sunday - nice food and vibrant art!

John Midgley is launching his new exhibition, 'Living on Borrowed Land', with a something a little more interesting than the standard private view.

Art Brunch at the Garden House Gallery in Cromer kicks off John's month-long show. All are invited to enjoy a relaxed brunch, chat with friends old and new while they browse his work. It features mixed media, oils and line drawings, all inspired by the fragility of the north Norfolk coastline.

Business Buddies

Work House, Norwich have launched a new service called Business Buddies, which may be of interest to you and some of your clients. Business Buddies offers 1-1 business advice and support to people across Norfolk, and provides a client-focused mixture of business advice & planning with a big dollop of encouragement and motivation.

Our in house expertise includes – goal setting, business planning, finance, costing and pricing, marketing, sales, branding, market research, presentation skills, risk analysis and feasibility studies of new projects / products.

As you may know, the Business Link E voucher system allows those with new businesses (pre start up, or trading less than one year) up to 2 sessions FREE.
However, we’ve had several clients who have found the sessions so worthwhile that they’ve asked if they can continue to access our advice and support after they’ve used up their voucher allowance, so we are also offering sessions charged at £50 per hour. These are action-focused and are tailored to suit clients’ individual requirements (any additional follow up on our part is free of charge, unless agreed otherwise).
